Tom’s 30+ years of business ownership, and the subsequent sale of his businesses, gives him a deep understanding of what an owner is going through when contemplating the sale of his/her business. His multiple ownership experiences give him the ability to advise sellers on how to prepare the business for sale. 2017 to present – Tom became an M&A Business Advisor in 2017. Tom and Rob teamed up to form Western M&A Advisory in early 2023. He is currently specializing in Manufacturing and Construction Services and enjoys the interaction with the owners and management teams with whom he has built relationships.

2005 – 2017 After selling his companies he joined his brother’s scrap metal business, Charron Metals. Besides helping run certain parts of the company, Tom became the sales manager overseeing over 300 local manufacturing companies and creating deep relationships with quite a few owners and managers of these companies.
